Sometimes, we choose our projects. Whether you have specific visions or just know you want something – I’m here to bounce ideas, explain the process, get some initial expectations set. An information resource with actual real world experience and designs.
Sometimes, the projects choose us. From weird leaks to concerning cracks – before calling specialists, understand what you’re actually dealing with. I assess across all systems and explain it in plain language. I’ll leave you with a comprehensive overview of the problem and understanding what correct is supposed to look like, so you can make confident decisions moving forward.
2. COACHING
Planning & Guidance
Running your own projects can be extremely rewarding. So many people are perfectly capable of tracking budgets and managing schedules, but don’t have the experience of knowing what should be in the budget, and where the schedule is vs where it should be.
I offer value engineering, insight, and feasibility during the design and planning stages – including assistance with plan and bid review.
During vertical construction I often engage in regularly scheduled sessions give an opportunity to review progress, adjust plans, and answer questions. Quality control walks are common, usually at certain determined milestones. This is a non-contract service – you may use my services as much or as little as you would like.
3. OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE
Your Eyes & Ears
For major construction, I protect your investment through quality control, schedule tracking, and hands-on problem solving. I visit job sites regularly and attend *OAC meetings as well as inspections. I update stake holders and remain on the project as long as is required. This is often billed bi-weekly and can be canceled at any time.
